Carters Customer Service is non existent

Carter's customer service is virtually non-existent. You get the runaround and no answers. I placed an online order and immediately noticed I had entered the wrong shipping address. I contacted them using their online chat and was told they would need to open a help desk ticket. I heard nothing till the following day. The next day, they responded that they couldn't do anything because it had been more than 60 minutes since the order was placed. That is on customer service for being so slow. I submitted the request immediately; we'll be within the 60-minute deadline. Never again.

My money was deducted but later no PNR

My money was deducted, but no PNR was generated for the Kolkata-Bagdogra flight. The customer service representative instructed us to wait and wasted two hours, during which we were unable to rebook. So by the time we rebooked, all fares had increased. Furthermore, we have yet to find whether a refund has been initiated or not, as they appear to take things extremely easily. I want my return as soon as possible.

Terrible experience

After four years at Primrose of Lakehill, I am deeply disappointed with how my son and our family were treated, particularly by the staff and the owner. What ultimately led us to withdraw was a consistent pattern of unprofessional conduct, poor judgment, and an apparent inability to support a young child appropriately. My son’s teacher consistently told me during drop-offs and parent-teacher conferences that my son was doing well and shared positive feedback. However, I later learned she was telling other parents that my 5-year-old was a “bad influence.” Speaking negatively about a child to other parents, especially one so young, is highly unprofessional and inappropriate.

I’ve purchased several controllers (for Xbox or PC), in total, I went through around five or six units. The first controller was replaced twice under warranty because it developed issues with either the analog sticks or the RB/LB buttons, and same with the replacement. When the third controller failed, it was no longer covered by warranty, so I bought a new one. To be fair, customer service was great as they handled all exchanges quickly and without hassle. But sadly, the long-term reliability has been consistently disappointing.

Poor quality, leaking product and awful customer service

I was gifted a Camelbak leak-proof insulated mug last year. Brand new. It leaked from day one, with liquid coming out of the back simply by tilting it slightly. I contacted CamelBak, and they acknowledged that it’s a genuine product, less than a year old, and still within the warranty. However, they won’t replace it.

I’ve been a long-time customer of Ethan Allen, and my 2025 purchase just reinforced why. I ordered leather-upholstered bar stools from their website, and they turned out perfect. The delivery team even rescheduled to match a day I’d be home, arrived right on time, set everything up carefully, and were polite and professional throughout. Experiences like this are why I always recommend Ethan Allen to my family and friends.

Deceptive

I consistently give Road Scholar the benefit of the doubt, simply to be let down. I made a very costly ticket for a trip to French Polynesia and the nearby islands. RS altered the schedule but didn't tell me until three months later, and seemed to be deceptively advertising in the interim. They claimed to have changed the pricing, but they hadn't done so for me. Emails and phone calls are necessary. I enjoy their schedules, but I'm running out of time to travel with them. In summary, I no longer trust them and keep a close eye on them when I make reservations with them.

I purchased a new Schott leather jacket through the Amazon website. It was a good fit, but when I attempted to disengage the zip, the pull mechanism came off in my hand. Upon examination, I found the bottom tooth was missing, causing the sliding puller to come away from the jacket. I contacted Shott customer care to report my problem. Quick reply: We only accept problems if the jacket was bought from an official Schott retailer website. Users Beware.

Poor Communication

We enrolled at Elance Calicut about two months ago, but our experience so far has been incredibly disappointing. Following admission, there has been no adequate communication from the institute. They do not return calls regularly, and when contacted, there is no clear answer as to when classes will begin. Despite multiple follow-ups and even offering possible class timelines, they have made no commitments or provided an update. This lack of accountability and professionalism is quite disturbing.
